A senior and influential health staffer in the Senate was heard saying, “If somebody is saying they know what’s going to happen…they’re lying.”

With the looming 2018 Senate midterm elections placing 25 GOP seats at risk, the political landscape is far from certain. With that said, it’s important for HR leaders responsible for setting healthcare benefit strategies and managing significant budgets to understand the possibilities in the foreseeable future.

The presentation will hopefully give you some answers to questions like:

What could happen to existing ACA provisions?

What could possibly replace it in a Republican dominated Congress?

When could this happen?

How do I best manage this uncertainty and change? Where does the Affordable Care Act stand today?

Lastly, and perhaps most importantly, we’ll spend some time discussing how to prepare for what may be coming including strategic considerations and employer best practices leveraging data from the 2017 NBGH Health Plan Design Survey.
